Cruel joke....

I woke up to...to....to THIS.  Last night Gary Lezak said rain, just rain, MAYbe snow Saturday evening.  This is Friday morning and I have at least an inch of snow....THIS IS NOT RIGHT.  Yes Deb, I know you have a foot + on the ground up there where you live by the north pole but you expect that (ok maybe not a foot but you get my point).  This is Missouri.  The grass is nearly tall enough to mow, the crocus and daffy's are blooming and I know the peach tree is thinking about blooming soon too.  So help me if we get the 3-5" that is predicted tomorrow....I don't know what I'll do but it'll be bad.  Real bad.

  1. I don't care where the snow fell--I don't like it OR want it anymore! And I hope you don't get anymore unless of course the cold temps are following the snow--it insulates the plants and ground against the cold... LOL Best wishes... Deb from the northland

  4. We had three inches on the grow Friday morning and it was quite beautiful...if you are into snow. LOL...I am not!
I am starting to lamb, not sure if Liam was old enough. I hope I have a few from him. I left him with the girls until Dec 1st then I turned in the back up ram.

  5. I wondered if you had started yet Sarita. I just have 1 set of twins. The rest are just laying there chewing their cuds with their fat bellies protruding alarmingly. I have just 13 ewes to lamb this year but 7 of them are first timers so I'm a little nervous about them! I hope Liam gave you some lambs this year, he has such pretty fleece!
